Hi, I’m Valeria (or Vale, since we’re comfy). I’m from San Juan, Puerto Rico, so naturally, I love anything beach- or Bad Bunny-related, and rice and beans are my ultimate comfort food. I’m obsessed with pop music and consider making niche Spotify playlists my biggest talent (right after overthinking, lol). After a long day, you’ll probably catch me rewatching my favorite shows (Glee is #1 on the rotation), journaling (aka gossiping with my notebook), or reading a good novel (preferably a romance or thriller, depending on my mood).

I recently graduated from the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!), and while the post-grad freedom has been delightful, the uncertainty has not. During this weird transition period, I needed a fun outlet to balance out the dreary job search. In college, I wrote for Her Campus UConn, and was an editorial assistant for UConn Magazine — both of which made me fall in love with writing and editorial, so I thought, why not keep it going? After endless Google rabbitholes and confusing YouTube tutorials… here we are!
